There's been so much going on this week, I really haven't been up for typing stuff. But here I am so lets make the most of it!
This monday I got a call from one of the people that used to practice in class with me, offering me a job interview at his new founded firm. The interview happened this friday, and it went good, I felt like I would fit in if I got the job, and it would be an incredibly interesting thing to work with. More info at www.timezynk.com !
The interview itself started with them presenting the company and what it was doing, and then I got to talk about my experiences (or lack thereof :/), my education and grades, degree project etc. It was nice, because I know Johan, it was pretty comfortable, and the other guy was quite charismatic as well - this is something I'd like to do! We slightly touched the subject of maybe having a test period over the summer where I could get paid and work under Johan with the programming to see how it felt and so. In the end when we got a bit less formal and I was shown the office, they said they liked what they heard and that I so far had better chances than the previous interviewed person (dunno how many).
Again, it was nice and open about things, which just toned down my nervousness!
In two weeks I'll know if I got a job (a lot depend on a client to deliver their order right now).
As for the weekend, it's been great. Had our firethingy at nicklas's place, spent all night by the fire and talked (me, magnus, nicklas and caroline). Woke up half past 10 in the morning the day after, magnus was snoring like a bulldozer or possibly something like what the death star would sound like when it explodes if there were sound in space. we had breakfast and I got home, relaxed for a few hours then went to bro, watched movies and today I've been out walking with göran and mom at forsakar - I went up to the waterfall, and we walked a bit in the hills as well.
practice is good, and I'm currently making the most of my hours it feel. I'm so glad I have this opportunity in my life, thinking like that really inspires to train even more.
